CEO Northern Vision Development LP

Don McCready, Campaign Chair

Throughout his 25 year long career with RBC, Don has had the opportunity to live in BC, Northern Alberta and now the Yukon – which is quickly becoming his favorite!  The Whitehorse branch is definitely a change of pace from being in a big city, and Don is enjoying the benefits that come from being part of a smaller community. He welcomes the opportunity to be a part of the team at the United Way Yukon.

‘Being in a city like Whitehorse allows me the opportunity to become familiar with people and to connect with people, there is certainly a feeling of unity here’.

Manager, Royal Bank of Canada Whitehorse

Roslyn Woodcock, 2017 Campaign Coordinator

Roslyn has been involved with the Yukon United Way since 2013. She leads the fall Campaign annually and helps intermittently in between. Aside from the United Way she owns two very small businesses in Whitehorse and sits on Whitehorse City Council. Roslyn has lived in Whitehorse since 1999 when she moved south from Inuvik to get some sun.

"I love being involved in the United Way's Campaign. It's fun, community-wide and reminds me every 12 months that Whitehorse is an extremely generous and loving community. I also get to wear costumes and hang out with tonnes of wonderful public servants and community leaders."

Dion Zdunic, Plane Pull Mastermind

Dion comes from a long history in advertising and event planning. He has worked in advertising agencies large and small on all three coasts of Canada, and has sold tourism from Alberta to Niagara to the NWT. He’s made catalogs, books about llamas, a clear cut’s worth of business cards, and helped print Mexican money. He spent over a decade working with, for, and in a theatre company. He’s done live TV, met two Governors General, and once accidentally joined the British army.

He has worked on countless events including advertising award shows in Calgary, lavish charity golf tournaments in Banff, music festivals in Nova Scotia, and has produced a wedding on a boat.

Dion is thrilled to be working on the Plane Pull for United Way Yukon. He talks about it endlessly, so if you should meet him in the street, be warned, he will go on about it until you eventually walk away, or sign up to participate.
