Major Donations

January 2021: The Co-operators understands non-profits and the communities they serve face unprecedented challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and is committed to improving the well-being and resilience of communities where they live and work. United Way Centraide's focus on kids, poverty and community helps improves our communities.
August 2020: The RBC Foundation donated $5,000 as part of its ongoing focus on creating a positive social impact. RBC is dedicated to working with charitable organizations that share their goal to help make a difference in local communities where they do business.
July 2020: In response to the Covid pandemic that has affected all Canadians, Canadian Tire Corporation provided financial supports to United Way Yukon so that we could continue to provide funding for non-profits and charities that support our most vulnerable people.
September 2020: Breakfast at Shipyards Park and an online silent auction kicked off the 2020 United Way Annual Campaign, with 120 items on offer from local businesses. Yukon government employees volunteered to organize and carry out the event which raised over $40,000.
November 2020: CIBC worked with United Way Centraide Canada to provide financial support to non-profit programs across Canada. United Way Yukon directed $5,500.00 to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Society Yukon and their Community Lunch program.
March 2021: Yukon Brewing responded when the Covid pandemic hit. They brewed up bottles of hand sanitizer and had face masks made up to keep everyone safe. $4522.00 was raised from the sale of the hand sanitizer and masks. Cheers!
March 2021: Scotiabank BC and Yukon Regional Office's 2020 Employee Giving Campaign raised $6,850.00 for United Way Yukon. We appreciate Scotiabank's commitment to supporting United Way and helping vulnerable people in our community.
